Some group from my school threw a party off-campus at this local club and the shit was poppin! My hair, clothes...everything is soaked with sweat. It was wall to wall people in that tiny-ass club and I was loving every minute of it. Me and my friend climbed up on the sofa-chair thingy and danced for about a hour or more, we grabbed lots of attention when we did that. I'm not even all that tired, but I am gonna take my ass to go get in the shower. I just had to let somebody know how great that party was. _

Free internet until christmas, thats what. Also i'm in the apartments this year, the upperclassmen housing I was talking about getting into last semester. Two bedroom (two people to a room) apartment with a bathroom, living room, and kitchen. When I get my new computer i'll take pictures and thangs like that.I have one important announcement to make, so here it goes... I talked to J about our relationship, and how it seems to be progressing from just friends to something more. When I said it, we discussed it and he said he doesn't want to mess up what we have already, and that he wants to stay friends. so.....yeah...I didn't expect that. It's cool though..we haven't gotten weird around each other, and we still chill. *shrug* I don't believe him though! No, i'm not in denial, and if I was...why does everybody we meet think we're a couple already? I'm not stressing it though, although I must admit i'm confused as hell. I need a program that I can resize my pics from my digital camera -I'm in the process of typing a story, but then I thought about the ^ statement. - I seen alot of stars last night at work. There was a chic that was sitting by Jay but I couldn't see if was B or not (she has accompanied him to games before). She was looking very bad if it was her. The weather, and other complaints that the omnipotent one has... [20 Apr 2005|05:22pm] [ mood | hot ] [ music | Kirk Franklin- melodies from heaven ] It is 85 degrees in April, what kind of shit is this? My dorm room feels like a sauna, and I have a ton of last minute work that I need to do-- but I can't think straight (or atleast thats my excuse.) I have a 4 page story that has to be done by next week, and I'm not good at writing stories at ALL. So I should have been started on it, but of course I haven't. I've been listening to straight gospel since Saturday night, just to see if I can go without listening to r&b/rap/hiphop. It just sucks that I started this "secular music fast" while the hottest week in spring has been going on-- and n-words with nice rides have been bumping HOT music. I have been tempted, but I resisted! It's quite interesting that my cursing habits have PICKED UP since I've refrained from listening to the "devil music." Somebody should write that down and do a study on it. I'm so happy for the a.n.d.y on his recent engagement. He's been a great friend (even if we only know each other online) and I wish the best for him. Good job,n-word. Fuck--it's still hot. Don't be fooled by the time that this post says either. [12 Apr 2005|09:39am] [ mood | annoyed ] College is the only place I know that it is acceptable to eat sour cream pringles at 9 in the morning. (With water at that) I've been up for awhile because I just had to register my classes for summer and fall 2005. My roommate kind of annoyed me while we were in the process of registering because she is SO SLOW. Everybody that goes to WPU knows that when 9 o'clock hits during registering season everybody and there momma is on the computer (thus making the server crash.) So I woke up extra early just so we could start the process right at 9 am. I let her get on first and she was just doing everything extra slow. Typing in the password SLOW, not trying again after it said she couldn't log on, and then when she did log on-- registering for Fall first (when she knows that she can't register for fall, without registering for summer!) Then after she finished she actually sat there for a minute instead of getting her black @$$ up. Trust and Believe that I would have been pissed if I didn't get the classes I wanted. These are the classes I'm going to take (i need one more for fall): Summer I Spanish 110 [Mon-Thurs 4-5:55 pm] Fall African Lit [Mon& Wed 11-12:15 pm] Spanish II [Mon& Wed 3:30-4:45 pm] English Lit [Tues& Thurs 9:30-10:45 am] Modern Drama [Tues& Thurs 11-12:15 pm] ^These are all english classes except Spanish. I hope I can find one "fun" class to balance all this other stuff out 2 | _

tax returns and future housing [04 Apr 2005|03:27pm] [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | Lloyd Banks- I'm so fly ] I bought this beautiful Canon Powershot as a present to myself, courtesy of my hefty tax return. Other things that my tax return money contributed to is my truck finally being fixed, which cut off the next DAY after being fixed (the car shop is fixing the problem as I type, free of charge of course.)I also paid the balance on my brother's senior class trip (my baby is growing up so fast!)LOL He got his license about three weeks ago, and you know he keeps pestering big sis to hold the whip but it is not going down until I feel comfortable with him driving by his self (i.e Never!)The rest of the tax return money is gonna be saved so me and the younger sibling can shop til we drop for spring/summer in the coming months. Ain't I like the best sister ever? (wait don't answer that...) Anyway at school I'm preparing to register for my classes for the summer, and next fall. Along with that comes the time to pick what dorm I want to live in. My room mate and I are trying to get into the Apartments next year because we both will be juniors, the apts. have kitchens, and I want to be in the company of sexy seniors. It also doesn't hurt that you are allowed to bring in alcohol (if you so desire) since you have to be 20 and up to get apartment housing. I'm 19 right now, but by the time fall starts I will be 20 years old (i'm old ya'll) so they will let me apply for the apartments because I have enough credits. I'm so excited...I plan on actually having a college life next year because these past two years have been work & school. I have no extracurricular activities, when I go out it's only to a club with my girls, I never go to school functions, and frankly I'm tired of not being involved. 2 | _

[27 Mar 2005|10:44pm] [ mood | don't want to do homework ] [ music | watching "kojak" ] I think i'm getting sick. Most of you that have been with me from the beginning know I get really sick throughout the year, one episode more annoying than the first. That may be overly dramatic, but thats how I feel. Before I was diagnosed with diabetes I was the picture of health, and now if somebody breathes the wrong way I get seriously ill. Diabetes makes you more suspectible to all types of icky germs and infections. I don't know how I expect to teach germ-infested children with out suffering an early demise (doesn't that sound really poetic?) Anyway, my spring break was great! The first half of it I spent in new jersey sleeping, and the second half was in north carolina (the weather was beautiful)meeting cute guys & eating good food. I was able to go and handle the business at the cemetery, and I bought some really cute underclothes. Did I mention that I got to see some really cute guys? lol Speaking of being cute, I was looking mighty sharp today at church. If I was a guy I would have asked me out based on fashion sense alone today. Pink colored blouse, khaki skirt, pink multi-colored (comic print) shoes, and tan purse. My brother looked nice too--in this olive green suede outfit that fit him perfectly. Our parents definitely made some pretty good looking children. Ok, i'm going to stop stalling and do my homework. ta-ta for now. _
